It is now considered politically incorrect to make fun of Real Americans. Very big faux pas. They are very sensitive and we must be careful about hurting their feelings by suggesting that some of them might be "deplorable" when they're screaming at us to go fuck ourselves.
But it's also considered really cool these days to be politically incorrect. It's so confusing. But then I'm just a stupid liberal who lives in my deep blue coastal enclave (along with 15 million other people) so who cares what I think about anything, amirite?
