Sheriff Joe still beating that zombie horse

Outgoing Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has announced that he will hold a news conference on Thursday to present the newest revelations in his years-long investigation of President Obama's birth certificate.
The news conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016.
It will be streamed live on our website, mobile app and Facebook page.
It's been four years since Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio held his last news conference detailing his accusations that President Barack Obama released a fake birth certificate to the public, but that doesn't mean the investigation is over.
In July, during a videotaped deposition connected to an unrelated investigation, Arpaio stated that the investigation is ongoing.
Arpaio was voted out last month so this would normally be just another eye-rolling wingnut event. But it's important to recall that Trump loves this guy, had him speak at the RNC and mentioned him at just about every rally. He was a major Donald Trump ally, beloved by his voters as a folk hero.
He's going out in a blaze of glory.
