When asked whether the bomb was also meant to send a message to the enemy, the spokesman replied, “Absolutely, we mean business.”
“It’s empowering the commanders and winning the war against the bad guys,” the spokesman said. “In this administration, the military is given empowerment to do what we need to do.”
“We mean business. President Trump said prior that once he gets in he’s going to kick the S-H-I-T out of the enemy. That was his promise and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”
This guy sounds like those ICE agents who are "having fun" now that trump has "taken off the shackles." It's good times for authoritarians.
But I hope this guy doesn't think Trump has his back if something goes wrong. There's a good reason Trump says that he gave the military "full authority." It's so, he can blame them if things go wrong.
*Centcom disavowed the statement after the fact saying it failed to portray proper military values. Good to know.
