I'm seeing on TV that people are saying this is "strategic messaging" that may have been worked out by the Chinese president and Trump during the visit. That would be a reasonable assumption if we didn't have a president who constantly blurts out sophomoric nonsense on his twitter feed and lies pathologically.
Who can have any faith that what he says is strategic in any way?
